How much online storage do I get?

You start with 5 GB provided by us. You can also buy additional storage if you want.

Where do I see how much online storage I have used?

At the bottom right you can see how much storage you have and how much you used.

What about the availability of my files?

We can’t give any guarantees or service level agreements at the moment. Instead, we offer you our promise that we will do our best to make sure your data is always available. Your encrypted files are stored redundantly on our servers so that even if a server crashes, they can be resurrected.

Please note that the main reason for temporary unavailability are bugs in the client software, which improves every day.

Can my data get lost?

All your data is stored redundantly on our servers. It is highly unlikely that your data gets lost. However, there is a residual risk. There could be bugs that lead to data loss, our main datacenter could burn down, a hardware error on your local computer could corrupt a file during insertion, you could accidentally delete data, etc. If your data is important to you, you should always store it in more than one places.

Can I transfer storage from one account to another?

No, that’s currently not possible.

My online storage has expired. What now?

If you have stored more files then your quota (usually 5 GB) allows, you can still access your files, but you cannot upload additional files. Therefore, we recommend buying storage, or renewing your subscription. Please note: If you don't react, we will reserve the right to block part of your files or to even delete part of your files, after having informed you several times.
