FAQ

Pro User

How do I become a pro member?

In order for you to become a pro member you need to trade storage or buy storage.

When does my pro member membership expire?

Your pro membership expires either when you stop trading local storage for online storage or if you subscription ends.

I am a pro user. In my profile it says how much I trade and how much I bought. Can I turn that off?

Yes, of course. Start Wuala, go to Tools > Options > Account (Win/Linux) or Wuala > Preferences > Account (Mac). There you can uncheck “Let others see how much Wuala storage I have" in the section 'Privacy'.

Which additional features do I get as a Pro user?

As Pro user you get additional storage and special features such as backup and file versioning.

What happens to my files when my pro membership expires?

If you have stored more files that your quota (usually 1 GB) allows, you can still access your files, but you cannot upload additional files. Therefore, we recommend trading or buying storage, or renewing your subscription. Please note: If you don't react, we will reserve the right to block part of your files or to even delete part of your files, after having informed you several times.
