New Logo

We're pleased to announce our new logo. While Wuala and LaCie have their own respective roadmaps, we also have strong plans to release joint products, combining hardware and software. The new logo aims at expressing unity - and it fits perfectly on LaCie boxes! We loved the old logo, but we also love the new one, and we're excited to see it soon in stores and in many other places. :)

I think the old Logo was better, because it was more individuell.

But that`s only what i think.

Yeah, the old one was better. Now it looks to simple, i could even make this logo with windows piant...
But the software is great and this is what matters the most.

i strongly agree with most of the comments before. The olde logo was far more individual and looked trendier on one side and shurely nicer than the new one! Why should the old logo in a new form not look nice on a product like a Lacie box? I mean the binding new element is the oval (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Datei:LaCie_Logo.svg) right?. So do keep the old logo inside the new oval form. I think that would be real kick ass solution seeing on one side the need to show the united collaboration with Lacie trough the oval in the same shape as Lacie's and on the other hand showing the old individual logo of Wua.la in it.

New logo has obviously utilized the font type of Lacie, combined with the red type of color from Wuala. Not superinspiringly new, but functional/straight. Though the Lacie font style sucks. Case designers just can't do media design.

This logo looks so....... normal. Paint an elapse, take a normal font like arial and type wuala.

Where is the artistic act?

simple logo for a simple product

The product isn't simple. It's easy to use, but complex. And to logo is just low level.

The old one was much better. Even the LaCie-Logo is better.

The old logo was just perfect, the one who decided it to be changed (probably lacie ....) should be slapped with huge sticks :D

When I look at the icon tray bar, it seems that I'm palying some Nintedo's game (Warrio Land), instead of running Wuala.

walta is totally right. Leave the oval if you want, but bring back the stylish, induviduel, modern and weavy logo, I mean the previous one.

Say no to boring logos and slap the designer (with hughe sticks sounds gound).

At least on my screen it looks like the red has changed. I like that, because it drew my attention immediately. It may just be the composition of the logo, but I think it does a better job in getting me focussed.

Being red, it will be memorable independent from the form factor. I like that too.

Personally I prefer simple forms, thus I really prefer the new logo.

Sad to see the old logo go, but agree the new one and fits better with that of LaCie. Wish I'd asked for a Tshirt in the old days. Good luck with the new plans!

Old logo had better visual class. New logo looks pretty blah!!! Would agree with one comment about retaining the oval, but using the previous script style for Wuala.
