Want to talk with us? Then join our first "Chat Thursday"! It's taking place today (Thursday, April 24), from 5pm to 6pm (Central European Time, GMT+1, we're based in Zurich, Switzerland) on IRC (Server: quakenet.org, Channel: #Wuala or
http://irc.wua.la).
After working long hours and doing some night shifts, we have released a hot new version of Wuala, including the
new group concept,
write access, some changes in the user interface, and
much more.
Check out the new version and tell us what you think. You don't need to reinstall Wuala, simply start it again and it will update automatically. If you have problems logging in, download Wuala
here and try again. If it still doesn't work, simply contact Oona (oona at wua dot la), she'll be glad to help.
Wuala is now also available in French! You can change the language under menu Tools > Language on Win/Linux. On Mac, it uses the system language. The whole translation was done by two Wuala users, Jcmag and Dim. Merci beaucoup!!

We're happy to announce that we have been acquired!
Caleido Inc., the makers of the revolutionary online storage and social content sharing solution Wuala, announced today that they were acquired by The Coca-Cola Company.
"We are really excited about this deal,” said Dominik Grolimund, CEO of Caleido Inc. “We always knew that Wuala is refreshing. By working together with The Coca-Cola Company we can combine our core competences of storage and soft drinks to guarantee an even more refreshing experience.
In future The Coca-Cola Company will launch a new brand called Woca-Wola consisting of a new bottle with four new caps: "My Cola", "My Friend's Cola", "My Group's Cola", "World's Cola." Furthermore, Wuala will now be redesigned to match the various colours of various soft drinks produced by The Coca-Cola Company. Here are some more statements to the acquisition:
“This promotion and the new brand is a great honour for us,” Luzius Meisser, CTO and co-founder of Caleido Inc. said. “We are absolutely thrilled.”
Grolimund added: “In fact the whole deal is quite amusing. We have always been drinking Coca-Cola while coding Wuala. Now, we’re finally on the coke side of life.”
